As part of this transformation, we are looking for a visionary Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to partner with the promoters and leadership team in shaping the Group's future.
Position Summary
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be responsible for providing strategic financial leadership to the Group and driving long-term business growth through effective financial planning, profitability management, capital allocation, governance, treasury, compliance, and business partnering.
The CFO will work closely with the Managing Director and Board of Directors to develop financial strategies that maximize shareholder value while ensuring financial discipline across all business units.
The role will oversee Finance, Accounts, Treasury, Budgeting, MIS, Costing, Taxation, Internal Controls, and Business Finance.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Financial Leadership
- Act as the principal financial advisor to the Managing Director and Board of Directors.
- Develop long-term financial strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Drive profitable growth across manufacturing and trading businesses.
- Evaluate expansion opportunities, new investments, capital expenditure, and acquisitions.
- Support strategic decision-making through financial modelling and business analysis.
- Develop enterprise-wide financial governance and control frameworks.
Business Finance & Profitability
Lead financial performance management across all businesses through:
- Product-wise profitability
- Customer-wise profitability
- Plant-wise profitability
- Channel profitability
- OEM profitability
- Export profitability
- Brand profitability
Drive initiatives to improve:
- Gross Profit
- EBITDA
- Net Profit
- Return on Capital Employed (ROCE)
- Return on Investment (ROI)
Monitor and improve:
- Manufacturing cost
- Cost of Goods Sold (COGS)
- Contribution margins
- Overhead optimization
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
- Lead annual budgeting and strategic planning.
- Develop rolling forecasts.
- Prepare long-term financial projections.
- Perform variance analysis.
- Identify financial risks and opportunities.
- Develop scenario planning for business decisions.
Treasury & Working Capital
Develop strategies to optimize:
- Cash Flow
- Working Capital
- Receivables
- Payables
- Inventory
- Banking arrangements
- Fund utilization
Lead relationships with:
- Banks
- Financial Institutions
- Investors
- Consultants
Plan debt restructuring and fund-raising initiatives wherever required.
Financial Reporting & MIS
Ensure timely preparation and presentation of:
- Monthly MIS
- Profit & Loss Statements
- Balance Sheets
- Cash Flow Statements
- Fund Flow Statements
- Business Dashboards
- KPI Reports
Provide financial insights for every business unit and present them to the Board.
Corporate Governance & Compliance
Ensure complete compliance relating to:
- GST
- Income Tax
- TDS
- Companies Act
- Secretarial requirements
- Internal Controls
- Risk Management
- Internal Audit
- Statutory Audit
Strengthen governance practices across the Group.
Cost Control & Operational Finance
Partner with Production and Supply Chain teams to improve:
- Costing systems
- Inventory controls
- Standard costing

- Budgetary control
- Waste reduction
- Yield improvement
Develop financial KPIs for every department.
Digital Transformation
Lead finance automation initiatives including:
- ERP implementation
- Business Intelligence dashboards
- Financial reporting automation
- Process digitization
- Internal control systems
- Approval workflows
Leadership
Lead and develop the Group Finance Organization comprising:
- Finance Managers
- Accounts Managers
- Unit Accountants

Build a high-performance finance function capable of supporting the Group's growth.
Candidate Profile
Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant (CA) – (Preferred)
- CMA / ICWA
- MBA Finance (Added Advantage)
Experience
- 12–20 years of progressive experience in Finance & Accounts.
- Minimum 5 years in a senior finance leadership role (CFO, Financial Controller, Head Finance, GM Finance, VP Finance, etc.).
- Experience in manufacturing industries is mandatory.
- Exposure to plywood, wood products, building materials, manufacturing, engineering, FMCG, or process industries will be preferred.

Pay: ₹75,000.00 - ₹120,000.00 per month
