Roles & Responsibilities1. Sales Management
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
- Monitor individual staff performance and productivity.
- Ensure maximum customer conversion and billing.
- Increase average bill value and cross-selling opportunities.
- Promote gold, silver, diamond, platinum, and gift articles.
2. Team Supervision
- Allocate sales counters and staff duties.
- Conduct daily morning briefing and evening review meetings.
- Train new employees on product knowledge and customer service.
- Motivate the sales team to achieve targets.
- Maintain discipline, grooming, and punctuality.
3. Customer Service
- Welcome and assist VIP and regular customers.
- Resolve customer complaints professionally.
- Ensure excellent customer experience from entry to billing.
- Build long-term customer relationships and repeat business.
4. Product & Inventory Control
- Monitor stock availability at all counters.
- Coordinate with the stock department for replenishment.
- Ensure jewellery is displayed neatly and safely.
- Report damaged or missing items immediately.
5. Visual Merchandising
- Ensure attractive product displays.
- Update showcases according to promotions and festive collections.
- Maintain showroom cleanliness and presentation.
6. Billing & Documentation
- Coordinate with the billing team for smooth transactions.
- Verify order bookings and advance payments.
- Ensure proper documentation for customer orders.
7. Marketing Support
- Inform customers about offers, schemes, and festive promotions.
- Support telecalling and follow-up activities.
- Collect customer feedback and referrals.
- Encourage enrolment in gold saving/chit schemes.
8. Compliance & Security
- Follow company SOPs and security procedures.
- Ensure accurate stock handling during opening and closing.
- Coordinate with security staff during busy hours.
- Maintain confidentiality of customer and business information.
9. Reporting
Prepare and submit:
- Daily Sales Report
- Staff Performance Report
- Customer Feedback Report
- Counter-wise Sales Report
- Stock Requirement Report
- Attendance & Shift Report
