- Supervise and execute road construction activities including earthwork, subgrade, GSB, WMM, asphalt/bituminous works, concrete pavements, and drainage. Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, IRC/MORTH standards, and project schedule.
- Coordinate with surveyors, subcontractors, machine operators, and labor teams for smooth execution.
- Check levels, alignment, camber, thickness, and quality of materials at site.
- Prepare and maintain daily progress reports, site records, and measurement books (MB).
- Coordinate with QA/QC engineers for material testing and quality control.
- Ensure safety norms and site discipline are strictly followed.
- Assist in billing, quantity estimation, BOQ reconciliation, and certification.
- Coordinate with consultants and client representatives for inspections and approvals.
- Identify site issues and suggest technical solutions to Project Manager.
Skills & Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of road construction methods and machinery (Paver, Roller, Batching Plant, etc.).
- Ability to read and interpret GFC drawings and specifications.
- Good command over MS Excel, AutoCAD (basic).
- Proficiency in English is mandatory (for reporting, coordination, and documentation).
- Good communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work at site and handle execution pressure.
