About the Role
We are looking for a creative and technically skilled Camera Operator & Video Editor to capture high-quality video content and transform raw footage into engaging, professional videos. The ideal candidate should be comfortable shooting on-site, handling camera equipment, and editing content for digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Capture high-quality videos for interviews, property shoots, events, corporate videos, and promotional content.
- Operate DSLR, mirrorless cameras, gimbals, tripods, microphones, and lighting equipment.
- Plan camera angles, framing, and compositions to achieve professional visuals.
- Edit videos for YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other digital platforms.
- Add transitions, effects, background music, subtitles, graphics, and color correction.
- Synchronize audio and ensure clear sound quality.
- Collaborate with anchors, reporters, marketing, and content teams to execute video concepts.
- Organize, maintain, and back up video files and production assets.
- Ensure all equipment is handled safely and maintained properly.
- Travel to project sites and events as required for video shoots.
- Deliver projects within assigned timelines while maintaining quality standards.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Working knowledge of After Effects, Photoshop, or DaVinci Resolve is an advantage.
- Good understanding of camera settings, lighting, composition, and audio recording.
- Experience operating DSLR/Mirrorless cameras and production equipment.
- Knowledge of social media video formats and platform-specific content.
- Strong attention to detail and storytelling skills.
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Media, Mass Communication, Film Production, or a related field (preferred).
- 1–3 years of experience in videography and video editing.
- Freshers with an excellent portfolio are encouraged to apply.
Preferred Requirements
- Candidate should own ma two-wheeler for field assignments (preferred).
- Willingness to travel within the city for shoots.
- Creative mindset with a passion for visual storytelling.
Salary
₹2.5 LPA – ₹4.5 LPA (Negotiable based on skills and experience)
