Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Faculty to teach English language and literature courses on an hourly basis. We are looking for Faculty who have a strong academic background, excellent teaching skills, and the ability to engage students in learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Verbal Ability, English Language, Reading Comprehension, Vocabulary, Grammar, and Critical Reasoning to students preparing for competitive exams.
- Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans, study materials, practice exercises, and mock tests.
- Conduct interactive classroom sessions, ensuring conceptual clarity and active student participation.
- Evaluate students' performance through assignments, tests, and regular assessments, and provide constructive feedback.
- Identify individual learning needs and provide additional guidance to help students improve.
- Stay updated with the latest exam patterns, syllabus changes, and question trends.
- Maintain student attendance, performance records, and progress reports.
- Collaborate with the academic team to enhance course content and teaching methodologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in English, Education, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in Verbal Ability/English for competitive examinations.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English.
- Strong knowledge of Grammar, Vocabulary, Reading Comprehension, Verbal Reasoning, and Critical Reasoning.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and classroom management skills.
- Ability to motivate and mentor students to achieve their academic goals.
Preferred Skills
- Experience teaching for competitive entrance exams such as CAT, CLAT, CUET, IPMAT, BBA, MBA, Banking, SSC, or similar aptitude-based examinations.
- Proficiency in creating question banks, mock tests, and academic content.
- Comfortable teaching both offline and online classes.
