Job Title: Legal Compliance Officer
Job Summary:
The Legal Compliance Officer is responsible for ensuring the organization's compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. The role involves monitoring regulatory requirements, assessing compliance risks, developing policies, conducting training, and providing legal and compliance guidance to support ethical and lawful business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Develop, review, and update compliance policies and procedures.
- Conduct compliance risk assessments and recommend corrective actions.
- Track regulatory changes and advise management on compliance requirements.
- Support internal audits, investigations, and regulatory inspections.
- Deliver compliance training and promote awareness across the organization.
- Maintain compliance records, reports, and regulatory filings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) or a related field.
- Relevant experience in legal compliance, regulatory affairs, or corporate governance.
- Strong knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
