Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated WordPress Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and optimizing WordPress websites. You will work closely with designers, content creators, and project managers to deliver high-quality web solutions that meet business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites.
- Create and modify WordPress themes and plugins.
- Ensure website responsiveness across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
- Optimize website performance, speed, and SEO.
- Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, bugs, and security vulnerabilities.
- Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and other web services.
- Perform website updates, backups, and maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with team members to implement new features and enhancements.
- Ensure websites follow best practices for security, accessibility, and user experience.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience as a WordPress Developer.
- Strong knowledge of WordPress CMS, themes, and plugins.
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and PHP.
- Experience with MySQL database management.
- Familiarity with page builders such as Elementor, WPBakery, or Gutenberg.
- Understanding of website optimization, SEO, and security best practices.
- Experience with version control tools such as Git is an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
