Job Title: Indian Classical Music Teacher (Vocal)Job Overview
Leena Music Academy is seeking a passionate and dedicated Indian Classical Music Teacher to join our faculty. This role is ideal for a fresher or an early-career professional (0–2 years of experience) who possesses deep foundational knowledge of Hindustani or Carnatic classical music and has a strong desire to nurture the next generation of vocalists.
Key Responsibilities
- Vocal Instruction: Teach Indian classical vocal music (Ragas, Talas, Bandishes, Alankars, and light classical forms) to students of varying age groups and skill levels.
- Curriculum Delivery: Design structured lesson plans that balance theoretical musical knowledge with practical performance skills.
- Student Assessment: Evaluate student progress, provide constructive feedback, and prepare students for music examinations, stage performances, or competitions.
- Engagement: Maintain an encouraging, disciplined, and engaging classroom environment that fosters a lifelong love for classical music.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education (Mandatory): Must hold a Sangeet Visharad degree OR a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Music specializing in Indian Classical Singing.Certifications from ABGMVM will be advisable to have with you as a proof of your education.
- Experience: 0–2 years (Freshers with strong performance credentials and a knack for teaching are highly encouraged to apply).
- Musical Expertise: Strong command over pitch (Swara), rhythm (Tala), voice culture, and classical music theory.
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively connect with young learners and parents.
- Attributes: Patient, punctual, and deeply committed to the preservation and teaching of Indian classical arts.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
