Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage andover see all transportation operations, including the movement of products, materials, and equipment.
2. Develop and implement transportation policies, procedures, and strategies to ensure cost-effective and efficient operations.
3. Work with logistics providers, carriers, and suppliers to negotiate contracts and agreements.
4. Monitor transportation and travel expenses and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
5. Reviewinvoices, contracts, and expenses to ensure accuracy.
6. Maintain relationships with transportation and travel service providers.
7. Evaluate the performance of vendors and suppliers, and make recommendations for improvements or changes as necessary.
8. Collect and analyze data related to transportation and travel activities to identify trends and areas for improvement.
9. Usedata-driven insights to make informed decisions
10. Ensure proper Documentation and implementation of best practises from the transporter, Maintain the records for all shipments in a structured manner.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
2. Proven experience in transportation management and travel coordination, preferably in a similar role.
3. Strong knowledge of transportation regulations, policies, and industry trends.
4. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
5. Strong communication and negotiation skills.
6. Attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
Preferred Qualification:
1. Certification in transportation management or logistics.
2. Experience with sustainability and environmentally friendly transportation practices.
