Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Billing & Estimation Engineer to prepare project estimates, quantity take-offs, client and subcontractor bills, and cost reports. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of construction drawings, BOQ preparation, rate analysis, and billing procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare quantity take-offs from drawings.
- Develop BOQs and cost estimates for civil works.
- Prepare RA bills, final bills, and subcontractor bills.
- Perform rate analysis for various construction activities.
- Verify work quantities at site and maintain billing records.
- Coordinate with project, site, and procurement teams.
- Prepare Bar Bending Schedule (BBS) where required.
- Monitor project costs and assist in cost control.
- Ensure compliance with contract terms and project specifications.
Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- 2–5 years of experience in billing and estimation for construction projects.
- Good knowledge of BOQ preparation, quantity surveying, and rate analysis.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and billing/estimation software.
- Familiarity with IS codes and standard methods of measurement.
