Job Brief:
The Assistant General Manager (AGM) plays a vital role in ensuring the seamless operation of the property. This role, built on trust and communication, involves overseeing all the departments. Actively monitor operations across the property, providing support and feedback to ensure quality service and guest satisfaction. A diverse skill set in management, food and beverage, marketing, and accounting is crucial for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the Front Desk, including check-ins/outs, guest registrations, and staff scheduling to ensure efficient service delivery
- Supervise F&B services and ancillary offerings, ensuring compliance with company SOPs and high service quality
- Deliver exceptional customer experiences by addressing guest grievances and ensuring service standards meet or exceed expectations
- Collaborate with the General Manager to oversee financial aspects of operations, ensuring adherence to budgeting guidelines
- Liaise with Head Office teams (Finance, Reservations, Customer Experience) to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency
- Implement upselling and cross-selling strategies to promote various products and services offered by the hotel
- Regularly engage with department teams (excluding GM) to boost productivity and morale, ensuring staff are well-groomed and maintain professional conduct
- Maintain a high standard across all guest experience touchpoints, focusing on the five senses (vision, hearing, touch, smell, taste)
Qualifications:
- Hospitality graduate or Diploma in Hospitality
- 4 years of operational knowledge in hotel management or front desk
- Extensive understanding of hotel operations across multiple departments
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and time-management skills
- Proven leadership abilities with a focus on team development and performance management
- Willingness to work in various locations across India
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹26,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
