Job Overview
IT Web India is looking for a skilled and creative Website Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate should have 1–3 years of hands-on experience in website development with strong knowledge of Shopify, WordPress, HTML, CSS, and responsive web design.
The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, customizing, and maintaining websites for clients while ensuring high performance, user experience, and functionality.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain websites using Shopify and WordPress platforms.
- Create responsive and user-friendly website layouts using HTML and CSS.
- Customize Shopify themes, sections, templates, and features according to client requirements.
- Develop and modify WordPress websites, including themes, plugins, and page builders.
- Convert design concepts into functional websites with clean and optimized code.
- Troubleshoot website issues, bugs, and performance-related problems.
- Optimize websites for speed, responsiveness, and better user experience.
- Perform website updates, content changes, and technical improvements.
- Collaborate with designers, SEO specialists, and project teams to deliver high-quality websites.
- Ensure websites are mobile-friendly and compatible across different browsers.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in website development.
- Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design.
- Hands-on experience with Shopify and WordPress development.
- Experience customizing Shopify themes and WordPress websites.
- Understanding of website hosting, domains, SSL, and basic troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of JavaScript, Liquid (Shopify), or PHP will be an added advantage.
- Familiarity with WordPress themes, plugins, and page builders.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Preferred Experience
- Experience developing Shopify eCommerce stores.
- Knowledge of Shopify Liquid, custom sections, and theme modifications.
- Experience with WooCommerce and WordPress eCommerce websites.
- Understanding of SEO-friendly website development practices.
- Experience optimizing website speed and performance.
