We are seeking an experienced professional to lead a VLSI and Embedded Systems team. The ideal candidate will have 8 to 12 years of hands-on experience in analog, digital, and mixed electronics, with proficiency in FPGA based designs, VHDL and C programming. A background in designing and realizing electronic systems for airborne applications is essential. As a graduate engineer, you will lead a dynamic team, driving innovation and ensuring the successful execution of projects.
Lead and manage a VLSI and Embedded Systems team, providing technical guidance and support.
Oversee project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Utilize extensive experience in analog, digital, and mixed electronics to design and develop advanced electronic systems.
Apply VHDL and C programming skills in the design, simulation, and verification of complex systems.
Ensure the design and realization of electronics systems meet the rigorous requirements of airborne applications.
Guiding the PCB CAD team in PCB Design especially in component placement and routing.
Guiding the MECH CAD team in design of housings / enclosures.
Experience in power electronics and engine control is desirable.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including hardware, software, purchase, production, customer and quality assurance, to ensure seamless project integration.
Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.
Conduct regular project reviews and provide updates to senior management.
Proficiency with Design Analysis – SI, PI, Power Budget, Thermal, Structural, Derating, Reliability, FMEA, FMECA etc.
Preparation of documents complying with the requirements of CEMILAC for airworthiness including design documents, analysis reports, ATP, QTP, V&V and other documents as per DO-254 and DO-178.
Ensure all designs and developments comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements, particularly for airborne applications.
Knowledge and experience with DO-254, DO-178, MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-704, JSS55555 etc is essential.
Experience with qualifying the product for airworthiness as prescribed by CEMILAC.
Implement best practices in design, testing, and validation to achieve high reliability and performance.
Stay abreast of the latest advancements in VLSI and embedded systems technology.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Mentor and develop team members, fostering their professional growth.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
8 to 12 years of experience in analog, digital, and mixed electronics design and development.
Proficiency in VHDL and C programming.
Proven experience in the design and realization of electronic systems for airborne applications.
Strong leadership and project management skills.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Preferred Skills
