Job Summary:
Milling & Drilling Machine Operator is responsible for operating milling and drilling machines to manufacture, modify, and repair metal components with precision. The role includes slot cutting, surface finishing, hole drilling, tapping, and maintaining dimensional accuracy as per drawings.
- Operate DRO Milling & Drilling machines safely and efficiently
- Set up tools, fixtures, and materials as per job requirement
- Measure components using vernier caliper, micrometer, and other measuring tools
- Maintain dimensional accuracy and surface finish standards
- Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning
- Identify and report machine issues to supervisor
- Follow safety rules and company policies
- Maintain daily production records
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of milling & drilling operations
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Understanding of cutting speed, feed, and depth of cut
- Knowledge of measuring tools (Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge)
- Basic machine maintenance knowledge
- Good attention to detail

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month
