Job Overview:
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing, editing, and optimizing video content related to legal technology, industry insights, and corporate branding. The role requires a strong understanding of digital content trends, video editing software, and storytelling techniques to create engaging and informative visual content.
Key Responsibilities:
- Video Creation & Editing: Edit and produce high-quality video content, including legal tech tutorials, webinars, promotional videos, and social media clips.
- Content Enhancement: Add motion graphics, transitions, animations, subtitles, and other visual effects to improve content quality and audience engagement.
- Brand Consistency: Ensure all video content aligns with the firm’s branding guidelines and messaging strategy.
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, content, and legal teams to develop video concepts and execute creative strategies.
- Research & Trends: Stay updated on legal technology trends and digital content best practices to create relevant and innovative video content.
- File Management: Organize and maintain a well-structured digital asset library for easy access and future reference.
- Optimization: Adapt video content for multiple platforms, including websites, YouTube, LinkedIn, and other social media channels.
- Compliance: Ensure all video content adheres to copyright and compliance regulations, especially within the legal domain.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Video Editor, preferably in a corporate, IT, or legal domain.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of motion graphics, color grading, sound design, and animation techniques.
- Ability to conceptualize and create visually compelling stories tailored for a legal and corporate audience.
- Familiarity with social media video trends and digital marketing strategies.
- Strong time-management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Experience with AI-driven video editing tools (optional but preferred).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or certification in Film Production, Multimedia, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- Experience in creating explainer videos, training modules, or corporate presentations.
- Understanding of legal industry terminologies and compliance regulations is a plus.
