Job Overview:
Konwert India Motors Pvt Ltd is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Stores Assistant to manage inventory, material movement, stores operations, and stock records. The candidate will support production and NPD activities by ensuring timely availability of materials and maintaining accurate inventory records.
Key Responsibilities:
Stores & Inventory Management:
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials and components.
- Prepare and maintain Goods Receipt Notes (GRN) and material issue records.
- Organize and maintain inventory in the stores area for easy identification and retrieval.
- Ensure timely issuance of materials to production, NPD, and other departments.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages or excess inventory.
- Conduct regular stock verification and cycle counting activities.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP/software systems.
- Coordinate with procurement and suppliers regarding material receipts and discrepancies.
- Ensure proper storage, handling, and preservation of materials.
- Maintain stores housekeeping and comply with safety procedures.
Documentation & Coordination:
- Maintain all stores-related documents, registers, and records.
- Assist in preparing inventory reports and stock reconciliation statements.
- Coordinate with Accounts, Procurement, Production, and NPD teams for material requirements.
- Support audits by providing inventory records and documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Commerce, Logistics, Supply Chain, or any related field.
Skills:
- Inventory Management.
- ERP Software / MS Excel.
- Goods Receipt Note (GRN) Management.
- Stock Reconciliation.
- Documentation and Record Keeping.
Preferred Experience:
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in Stores, Inventory Management, or Warehouse Operations.
- Experience in manufacturing, automotive, or trading companies preferred.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and inventory control processes.
- Experience in stock audits and material handling.
