- Perform comprehensive manual testing for REST/GraphQL APIs, and web applications.
- Build and maintain scalable automation frameworks from scratch for regression, smoke, sanity, and functional suites.
- Conduct API testing using Postman and Swagger.
- Perform security testing covering input validation, SQL injection, XSS, and auth flaws using OWASP ZAP or Burp Suite.
- Knowledge of cross-browser and mobile testing strategies.
Maintain test management workflows using BrowserStack, TestRail, Linear, or equivalent tools.
-
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in software quality engineering with a strong mix of manual and automation testing.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript, Playwright, or Selenium.
- Hands-on experience with Postman and Swagger for API validation.
- Demonstrated ability to independently trace bugs across frontend, API, and database layers.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools: Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, BrowserStack.
Communication skills and maturity to challenge technical decisions constructively and propose solutions.
-
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):
-
Prior experience in a development role (frontend or backend).
