ABOUT THE ROLE: We are looking for a talented and self-driven Software Developer to join our team. You
will work independently on building Python applications, developing frameworks, analyzing data and
managing the organization’s IT infrastructure, assets, and systems. You will also work with OCR technology,
create, and integrate APIs, and automate processes to improve efficiency.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Write and maintain Python applications and frameworks.
- Use Pandas, NumPy, and Matplotlib to analyze data and create reports or visualizations.
- Work with OCR tools (e.g., Tesseract) to extract text from images and documents.
- Ability to review the existing tools to find potentials problems and provide AI oriented solutions.
- Build and connect with RESTful APIs to exchange data between systems.
- Write Python scripts to automate repetitive tasks and improve workflows.
- Work with other teams to ensure smooth system integration.
- Write tests and optimize code to ensure high performance.
- Document your code and processes clearly for others to understand.
- Strong knowledge of Python programming.
- AI implementation for identifying problems and providing solutions.
- Experience with Pandas, NumPy, and Matplotlib for data work.
- Good understanding of OCR tools and text extraction from images.
- Experience in working with REST APIs.
- Experience writing scripts to automate tasks.
- Familiarity with Python frameworks like Flask, Django, or FastAPI.
- Experience in IT systems administration, support, or asset management.
- Experience with Git.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Good at explaining technical ideas clearly.
- Good communication and ability to manage cross-departmental IT needs.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Familiarity with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Familiarity with AI implementation.
- Basic knowledge of machine learning is a plus.
- Familiarity with IT asset management platforms and ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow).
