Education-Diploma/Degree (preferably BE/B.Tech/in Mechanical/Electrical/Civil/any other)
Desired Candidate Profile:
Advance Diploma in Industrial Safety or equivalent.
Relevant experience in Safety Management in Substation & Transmission Construction Sites.
Working in multiple sites/projects in Required
Duties/ Responsibilities/ Activities:
· Building safety culture
· Preparation of Annual plans & execution of activities with 100% compliance
· Establishing company level HSE OATs and guide the team to achieve.
· Establishment and implementation of HSE management systems
· Colloborately work with Project Managers and ensure legal compliance & zero incidents
· Monitoring on time submission of MIS reports & focus on Continuous Improvement Programs
· Act as the Responsible Person for all health and safety matters across all projects, identifying and responding to current legal and best practice requirements.
· Initiate and oversee a HSE leadership change programme across all projects.
· Set the strategic direction for effective OSHE management and appropriate workplace wellbeing programmes for employees/contractors employees.
· Review all aspects of OSHE policies and activity and ensure that it is implemented consistently across all projects.
· Monitor, evaluate and review existing, new and upcoming OSHE legislation/rules/regulations and ensure that has systems and procedures in place to meet compliance and other requirements.
· Work proactively with project managers and other key employees to establish and maintain a programme of continuous improvement in OSHE management within their areas of responsibility.
· Ensure that rigorous risk assessment and incident management systems are in place and followed across all projects.
· Audits: Oversee and undertake audits where appropriate and ensure an action plan to address issues identified. Audits conducted as per schedule. Site Safety visits/Inspection with project team on periodic basis.
· Provide Leadership to site safety team, ensure compliance with corporate safety standards and government regulations and improve safety performance at all projects.
· Assist line management personnel in meeting their obligations under the relevant Occupational Health & Safety legislation, such as on-going safety education, hazard identification and elimination
· Training - EHS Trainings conducted as per schedule.
· Requirements shall be identified & training shall be conducted as per schedule. Conducting trainings through class room session and video conferencing to staffs and Workmen.
· Reporting and Analysis of Potential Near-miss Cases and First Aid Cases in the site to HO.
· Analysis & review of high potential repeated FA/NM cases for implementing the permanent corrective actions to mitigate to recurrence. Carrying on incident / accident investigations, gathering facts & relevant information, analyzing and interpreting different hazards and controls.
· Maintain, review and report safety performance, identifying opportunities for improvement along with implementing preventative and corrective actions as required.
· Co-ordinate, implement and monitor compliance in accordance with ISO 9001 / ISO 14001/ ISO 45000.
