Job Summary
Looking for a technically sound Purchase Executive with experience in procurement of electronic components, machine components and industrial materials.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in PR-to-PO processes, vendor coordination, technical drawings, BOMs, component sourcing and Tally/ERP. Candidates from Machine Tools, Automation, SPM or Industrial Machinery backgrounds are preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle the complete PR to PO procurement process.
- Source electronic, electrical and mechanical components based on engineering requirements.
- Read and understand engineering drawings, specifications and BOMs.
- Identify suitable vendors and allocate components/drawings based on vendor capability.
- Obtain quotations, compare prices and negotiate with suppliers.
- Follow up with vendors to ensure materials are delivered within the required TAT.
- Coordinate with Design, Production, Stores, Quality and Engineering teams.
- Manage procurement requirements for multiple machines/projects simultaneously.
- Maintain vendor records, purchase documentation and ERP/Tally updates.
- Support procurement for Automation, SPM, Machine Tools and Industrial Machinery.
- Ensure the required quality, specification, cost and delivery timelines are achieved.
Components / Material Knowledge
Candidates should have knowledge or exposure to:
- PCB and electronic components
- Sensors and relays
- Automation components
- Electrical components
- Machine tool components
- Bearings, fasteners and engineering components
- Aluminium and alloy steel materials
- Material grades and specifications
- Surface treatment / E-treatment / finishing requirements
- Engineering drawings and component specifications
- BOM and technical requirements
Required Skills
- 2–4 years of experience in Purchase / Procurement
- Experience in Machine Manufacturing / Machine Tools / Automation / SPM / Industrial Equipment
- Good understanding of engineering components and materials
- Ability to understand technical drawings and BOMs
- Strong vendor development and negotiation skills
- Experience handling PR → PO → Vendor → Delivery
- Good knowledge of Tally / ERP / SAP
- Strong follow-up and vendor coordination skills
- Ability to manage multiple procurement requirements simultaneously
- Good communication and analytical skills
Qualification
B.E./B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical

Candidates currently working in or having experience with:
