We are looking for experienced full-stack developers who can design and build responsive web applications using Angular on the front end and .NET Core microservices on the back end, with strong REST API development, for an enterprise banking environment. The role is hands-on: you will own features end to end — from Angular UI through .NET Core services and APIs to the database — working onsite as part of the bank's IT delivery team.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop responsive, cross-browser web applications using Angular (v12+), TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3/SCSS.
- Build and maintain scalable .NET Core / ASP.NET Core microservices and RESTful APIs in C#.
- Integrate the front end with backend microservices; handle authentication, error handling, and performance.
- Design and optimise data access with SQL Server and Entity Framework Core.
- Follow secure-coding, code-review, unit-testing, and CI/CD practices within an Agile team.
- Collaborate directly with the bank's IT leads on requirements, delivery, and support.
Must-Have Skills (non-negotiable)
- Hands-on full-stack: BOTH Angular (v12+) AND .NET Core / ASP.NET Core in the same recent role — not one stack only.
- Strong C#, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3/SCSS.
- Microservices architecture and RESTful API development & integration.
- SQL Server and Entity Framework Core (query design, optimisation).
- Authentication & authorisation — JWT, OAuth.
- RxJS, component-driven UI (Angular Material / Bootstrap), responsive design.
- Git, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Agile delivery.
- Clear spoken and written English — this is a client-facing onsite role at a bank.
Good-to-Have
- BFSI / banking / fintech project experience.
- Docker, Kubernetes, containerised deployments.
- Messaging / event-driven systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus).
- Caching (Redis), performance tuning, cloud (Azure).
