We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Senior Sourcing & New Business Development Executive to lead strategic sourcing activities and drive business growth in the heavy fabrication sector. The candidate should have strong vendor development, cost negotiation, customer acquisition, and market expansion experience, with sound technical knowledge of fabrication products and processes.
Key Responsibilities:Sourcing & Procurement
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans for raw materials, fabrication components, and outsourced services.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors and suppliers.
- Conduct price negotiations and ensure cost optimization.
- Manage procurement planning, RFQs, quotations, and supplier contracts.
- Ensure timely material availability as per production requirements.
- Monitor supplier performance on quality, delivery, and cost parameters.
- Coordinate with production, quality, design, and planning teams for procurement needs.
New Business Development
- Identify new business opportunities in heavy fabrication, engineering, trailers, automotive, and industrial sectors.
- Develop and maintain relationships with OEMs, industrial clients, and key customers.
- Generate inquiries, prepare techno-commercial proposals, and close business deals.
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends and competitor activities.
- Support tender participation, costing discussions, and contract negotiations.
- Expand customer base and achieve revenue growth targets.
Vendor & Customer Relationship Management
- Build long-term relationships with vendors, customers, and strategic partners.
- Handle commercial discussions and contract finalization.
- Resolve supplier/customer issues related to quality, pricing, and delivery.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Mechanical / Supply Chain / Business Management.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Heavy Fabrication Industry.
- Experience in sourcing fabrication materials such as steel, bought-out items, machining, laser cutting, bending, welding, and subcontracting services.
- Proven experience in business development and customer acquisition.
