Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Officer to drive the acquisition of corporate clients for Salary Account business. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in sourcing and onboarding corporate companies for salary account tie-ups and possess strong relationship management and sales skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and acquire new corporate clients for Salary Account tie-ups.
- Generate leads through field visits, networking, referrals, and corporate meetings.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with HR, Finance, and decision-makers in corporate organizations.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly business targets for salary account acquisition.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and account opening processes.
- Conduct corporate presentations, employee engagement activities, and account opening camps.
- Cross-sell banking products such as personal loans, credit cards, insurance, and investment products where applicable.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with bank policies, KYC norms, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and business development activities.
Eligibility Criteria
- Graduate in any discipline (MBA in Marketing/Finance preferred).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Corporate Salary Account acquisition or Corporate Banking Sales.
- Proven track record in opening salary accounts through corporate tie-ups.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Good presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively for client meetings and business development.
- Proficient in MS Office and CRM tools.
