Job Summary
Hindustan Iron & Sponge Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a qualified and experienced First Class Boiler Attendant to operate, monitor, and maintain boiler operations safely and efficiently while ensuring compliance with statutory and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor boiler systems and auxiliary equipment.
- Ensure safe and efficient boiler operation as per statutory requirements.
- Monitor steam pressure, temperature, water levels, and other operating parameters.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance activities.
- Identify and report equipment abnormalities and coordinate corrective actions.
- Maintain operational logs and records.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and company standards.
- Coordinate with maintenance and operations teams for smooth plant functioning.
Eligibility Criteria
- First Class Boiler Attendant Certificate (Mandatory).
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification preferred.
- Minimum 3–8 years of experience in boiler operation in Power Plant, Sponge Iron, Steel, Cement, or Manufacturing industries.
- Sound knowledge of boiler operations, safety practices, and statutory requirements.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of AFBC/CFBC/WHRB Boiler operations.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in shifts.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
