Key Responsibilities
Academic Responsibilities
- Teach Science to students of Classes VI to X as per CBSE curriculum and school guidelines.
- Prepare annual planners, lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and teaching-learning materials.
- Deliver engaging classroom instruction using practical, activity-based, and experiential learning methods.
- Conduct regular assessments, practical activities, projects, and examinations.
- Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback for continuous improvement.
- Complete the prescribed syllabus within the academic timeline.
Laboratory Management
- Conduct science practicals and demonstrations in a safe and effective manner.
- Maintain laboratory equipment, chemicals, and records.
- Ensure adherence to laboratory safety procedures and guidelines.
- Encourage students to participate in experiments and scientific investigations.
Student Development
- Foster curiosity, critical thinking, problem-solving, and scientific temperament among students.
- Identify and support students requiring academic assistance or enrichment.
- Mentor students for Science exhibitions, Olympiads, quizzes, and competitions.
- Encourage participation in STEM-related activities and projects.
Classroom Management
- Maintain a positive, disciplined, and inclusive learning environment.
- Manage classroom activities effectively and promote student engagement.
- Ensure student attendance, discipline, and participation.
Parent & Teacher Coordination
- Attend Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs) and academic review meetings.
- Communicate students' academic progress and developmental needs to parents.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and coordinators to enhance learning outcomes.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Maintain attendance registers, assessment records, and student portfolios.
- Assist in examination duties, invigilation, result preparation, and report card generation.
- Participate in school functions, assemblies, committees, and co-curricular activities.
- Undertake any additional responsibilities assigned by the school management.
Professional Development
- Keep updated with CBSE guidelines, educational practices, and advancements in Science education.
- Participate in workshops, seminars, training programs, and professional learning activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Science (B.Sc.) in relevant subject(s) from a recognized university.
- B.Ed. from a recognized institution.
- CTET/TET qualification preferred where applicable.
Experience
- Minimum 3-5 years of teaching experience as a Science Teacher in a reputed school.
- Experience in teaching middle and secondary classes under CBSE curriculum preferred.
- Experience in conducting laboratory practicals and science projects.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong subject knowledge in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology at the middle/secondary level.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Effective classroom and laboratory management.
- Ability to use digital teaching tools and smart classroom technologies.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Student mentoring and academic guidance capabilities.

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
