We are seeking a skilled and motivated Automotive Technician to join our service team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining customer vehicles while ensuring high-quality workmanship and excellent customer satisfaction. The technician should be able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced workshop environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance including oil changes, brake servicing, tire rotation, suspension checks, and battery replacement.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults using diagnostic equipment.
- Repair or replace defective components such as engines, transmissions, steering, suspension, braking, and electrical systems.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and road tests before and after repairs.
- Follow manufacturer repair procedures and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate repair orders, inspection reports, and service documentation.
- Keep the workshop clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
- Communicate repair findings and recommendations to the Service Advisor or Workshop Manager.
- Participate in technical training to stay current with new vehicle technologies.
Qualifications
- Diploma/ITI in Automobile Engineering, Motor Mechanic Vehicle (MMV), or a related field.
- 1–5 years of experience as an Automotive Technician or Automobile Mechanic.
- Experience using vehicle diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Strong knowledge of petrol, diesel, or electric vehicle systems.
- Valid driving license preferred.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
