Job Summary:
Responsible for ensuring product quality by performing inspections, maintaining quality documentation, handling measuring instruments, and supporting quality improvement activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspection of components as per drawings and quality standards.
- Good knowledge in handling all types of measuring instruments.
- Profile Projector and other precision measuring instruments.
- Hands-on experience in Portable CMM operation and measurement process.
- Ability to understand engineering drawings, GD&T, and inspection requirements.
- Prepare and maintain quality documents such as: FAI Reports, PPAP Documents, Inspection Reports, Control Plans, NCR Reports etc.,
- Monitor process quality and identify deviations during production.
- Coordinate with production teams for corrective and preventive actions.
- Perform root cause analysis using quality tools (5 Why, Fishbone, etc.).
- Support internal audits and customer audits.
- Maintain calibration status and ensure proper usage of measuring instruments.
- Prepare quality records and maintain traceability documents.Required Skills:
- Good knowledge of inspection methods and quality standards.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
- Knowledge of GD&T and tolerance concepts.
- Experience in Portable CMM programming/measurement will be an added advantage.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and quality reporting.
Preferred Experience:
Automobile / Precision Engineering / CNC Machining / Manufacturing industry experience preferred.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
