1. Facility Operations
- Oversee maintenance of factory infrastructure including buildings, roads, drainage systems, and internal utilities.
- Monitor facility performance and address breakdowns promptly.
2. Infrastructure Development & Projects
- Coordinate civil and infrastructure works such as factory expansion, equipment foundations, modifications, and renovations.
- Review layouts and design inputs in coordination with consultants, OEMs, and contractors.
- Ensure project execution aligns with approved drawings, technical specifications, and timelines.
- Monitor contractor performance and quality of work.
3. Safety & Compliance
- Ensure all facility operations comply with statutory regulations and EHS standards.
- Implement safe work practices and ensure adherence to due permit systems.
- Coordinate with EHS teams for audits, inspections, and closure of observations.
- Maintain records for compliance and approvals.
4. Vendor & Contractor Management
- Coordinate with external agencies, suppliers and contractors for maintenance, civil works.
- Support technical evaluation of vendors along with supply chain teams.
- Monitor contractor safety, quality, and adherence to scope.
- Verify bills (RA bills) and ensure work completion as per contract terms.
5. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain records of repair works and facility layouts.
- Prepare MIS reports on facility status, utility consumption, and project progress.
- Review and approve technical documents such as foundation drawings, layouts, and design basis reports (as per role competency).
7. Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities for improving facility reliability and efficiency.
- Implement best practices in industrial facility management.
- Drive initiatives for sustainability and cost optimization.
