We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Interior Designer to join the Atluri Ascend project team in Hyderabad.
The role will focus on design coordination and site execution of premium commercial interior spaces including Reception Lobby, Lift Lobbies, Toilets, Business Centre, Conference Room, Kids Creche, Medical Room and Managed Offices on the 6th floor.
The ideal candidate should have completed commercial office, hospitality, coworking or managed-office projects and should be comfortable working closely with architects, project teams, vendors, MEP teams and site engineers.
This is not only a concept-design role. The candidate must be able to close drawings, coordinate BOQs, review shop drawings, approve samples, resolve site issues and drive execution quality within timeline and budget.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate interior design and execution for key commercial office spaces.
- Review and coordinate GFC drawings, BOQs, finish schedules and shop drawings.
- Work with architects, CAD designers, project teams, MEP engineers, IT/ELV teams and vendors.
- Finalize materials, finishes, samples, mock-ups and site details.
- Coordinate execution of flooring, wall cladding, ceiling, lighting, furniture, toilets, partitions, glass, metal and stone works.
- Review vendor drawings and provide site clarifications.
- Support procurement with technical inputs and material specifications.
- Monitor site progress and ensure quality of interior works.
- Prepare snag lists and ensure closure before handover.
- Support as-built drawings and documentation.
Requirements
- B.Arch / B.Des Interior Design / Diploma in Interior Design.
- 7–12 years of interior design and execution experience.
- Minimum 3 completed projects in commercial offices, hospitality, coworking or managed offices.
- Strong understanding of GFC coordination, BOQ review, site detailing and vendor coordination.
- Experience in reception lobbies, lift lobbies, toilets, conference rooms and common-area interiors.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop / PowerPoint and Excel.
- Revit knowledge is an added advantage.
- Must be practical, site-oriented and comfortable working within budgets and timelines.
Preferred Candidate
- Hyderabad-based or willing to work full-time from site.
- Immediate joiners preferred.
- Prior experience in Grade-A commercial buildings, business centres, coworking spaces or hospitality projects preferred.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to make quick decisions and close execution issues.
