Job Summary
A reputed college in Kasturinagar, Bangalore is inviting applications for the position of Head of Department (HOD) – Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA).
We are seeking an experienced academic leader with strong expertise in departmental management, curriculum planning, faculty mentoring, and student development.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the BBA Department, ensuring academic excellence
- Plan and implement the curriculum in accordance with university guidelines
- Teach undergraduate BBA courses
- Mentor and supervise faculty members
- Prepare academic calendars, timetables, and departmental reports
- Coordinate examinations, seminars, workshops, industrial visits, and academic events
- Promote industry interaction, internships, and placement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with university regulations, NAAC, NBA, and other statutory requirements
- Drive continuous improvement in academic quality and departmental performance
Eligibility
- MBA in a relevant specialization
- Ph.D. preferred as per university/UGC norms
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a college
- Minimum 10 years of experience as a Head of Department (HOD) or in an equivalent academic leadership role
- Strong academic leadership and administrative skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
