Tandoor Section is responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of tandoori dishes such as kebabs, tikka, naan, and other Indian breads while maintaining the highest standards of taste, presentation, hygiene, and food safety. The candidate assists the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations, including mise-en-place preparation, marination, portion control, stock rotation, and maintaining cleanliness of the tandoor station. The role requires hands-on experience in operating tandoor ovens, knowledge of Indian spices and grilling techniques, and the ability to work efficiently during busy service hours. The Commi-I must ensure consistent food quality, follow hotel SOPs and HACCP standards, minimize wastage, and support junior kitchen staff whenever required
