Position Overview
We are seeking a result-oriented and target-driven Business Development Executive (BDE) to drive seller acquisition, revenue growth, and long-term business relationships. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, a consultative sales approach, and the ability to onboard manufacturers, exporters, wholesalers, and service providers onto our platform.
Key Responsibilities1. Seller Acquisition & Onboarding
- Identify and approach manufacturers, exporters, wholesalers, and traders.
- Explain Biz Trade Mart membership plans and benefits.
- Convert leads into paid subscription members.
- Assist sellers in completing profile, KYC, and product listings.
2. Lead Generation & Sales
- Generate leads via telecalling, LinkedIn, field visits, and networking.
- Follow up on inbound inquiries and RFQs.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and CRM updates.
3. Relationship Management
- Build long-term relationships with sellers.
- Educate sellers about maximizing visibility and inquiries.
- Coordinate with support and technical teams for issue resolution.
4. Market Intelligence
- Monitor competitor offerings (IndiaMART, TradeIndia, etc.).
- Provide insights to management for product and pricing improvements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in B2B sales / marketplace sales preferred.
- Strong negotiation and objection-handling skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (Hindi & English mandatory).
- Basic understanding of digital platforms and online marketplaces.
- CRM knowledge is an added advantage.
