We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Staff Nurse with at least one year of Labour Room experience to provide high-quality nursing care to mothers during labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period. The ideal candidate will work closely with obstetricians, pediatricians, and the multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure safe maternal and neonatal outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to antenatal, i ntrapartum, and postnatal patients.
- Monitor maternal and fetal well-being during labor.
- Assist obstetricians during normal and assisted deliveries.
- Prepare and maintain the Labour Room, ensuring all equipment and supplies are readily available.
- Administer medications and IV fluids as prescribed.
- Perform newborn assessment and provide immediate neonatal care.
- Maintain accurate nursing documentation and patient records.
- Educate mothers and families on post-delivery care, breastfeeding, and newborn care.
- Follow infection prevention and patient safety protocols.
- Respond promptly to obstetric emergencies and assist during emergency procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with doctors and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements
- B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institution.
- Valid Nursing Council registration.
- Minimum 1 year of Labour Room nursing experience.
- Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work rotational shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is preferred.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
