Your Role
As a WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for developing, customizing, optimizing, and maintaining WordPress websites for clients across multiple industries. You'll collaborate closely with designers, marketers, SEO specialists, and project managers to build websites that are visually appealing, technically sound, and performance-driven.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop responsive and user-friendly WordPress websites.
- Build custom themes and customize existing themes.
- Install, configure, and customize WordPress plugins.
- Develop custom functionality based on project requirements.
- Convert Figma, Adobe XD, or PSD designs into WordPress websites.
- Optimize website speed, Core Web Vitals, and overall performance.
- Ensure websites are SEO-friendly and follow best development practices.
- Troubleshoot website issues, bugs, and plugin conflicts.
- Perform website maintenance, updates, backups, and security enhancements.
- Integrate third-party APIs, CRM tools, forms, payment gateways, and marketing platforms.
- Ensure websites work seamlessly across browsers and devices.
- Collaborate with the SEO and marketing teams for technical implementations.
- Maintain clean, reusable, and well-documented code.
Required Skills
- 1–2 years of hands-on experience in WordPress development.
- Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL.
- Experience with custom WordPress theme development and plugin customization.
- Hands-on experience with Elementor and WooCommerce.
- Basic experience in Shopify store setup, customization, and maintenance.
- Experience in website hosting management, including cPanel, FTP, domain, DNS, SSL, email configuration, and website migrations.
- Understanding of website speed optimization, Core Web Vitals, and technical SEO.
- Familiarity with Git/version control and third-party API integrations is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and a passion for building high-quality websites.
