Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the preparation and maintenance of accurate books of accounts.
- Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
- Prepare financial statements, management reports, and MIS reports.
- Handle internal and external audits, including audit planning, coordination, and closure of audit observations.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Review and monitor general ledger entries, reconciliations, and financial transactions.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, banks, and regulatory authorities.
- Prepare and analyze monthly MIS reports, including revenue, expenses, profitability, cash flow, and budget variance analysis.
- Develop and present financial dashboards and management reports to support strategic decision-making.
- Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and cash flow management.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and implement financial controls to enhance efficiency and compliance.
- Assist senior management in financial analysis and decision-making.
Qualifications & Experience
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) is mandatory.
- Minimum 4–8 years of relevant finance and accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and audit procedures.
- Experience in handling both internal and external audits.
- Proven expertise in maintaining and reviewing books of accounts.
- Knowledge of VAT, taxation, and statutory compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
