Job Description:
- Manage end-to-end transformer manufacturing projects from order receipt to final dispatch.
- Plan, execute and monitor project activities as per timelines, quality and cost requirements.
- Coordinate with Design, Production, Quality, Purchase, Stores and Testing teams.
- Review customer requirements, technical specifications and project schedules.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion and delivery.
- Coordinate with customers for technical clarifications, approvals and project updates.
- Identify project risks, delays and bottlenecks and take corrective actions.
- Monitor project costs, resources and overall project performance.
- Ensure compliance with customer specifications, quality standards and safety requirements.
- Coordinate inspection, testing, FAT and final dispatch activities.
- Prepare project status reports, MIS and progress updates for management.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve project-related issues effectively.
- Lead project teams and ensure proper coordination between internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure successful project handover and completion within agreed timelines.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 15–20 years of relevant experience in Transformer Manufacturing is mandatory.
- Strong experience in Power Transformer / Distribution Transformer projects.
- Excellent project planning, execution and coordination skills.
- Strong knowledge of transformer manufacturing and testing processes.
- Good understanding of technical specifications and customer requirements.
- Strong communication, negotiation and team-handling skills.
- Experience in handling multiple projects simultaneously will be preferred.
- Willingness to travel for customer meetings, inspections and project-related requirements.
