Role Overview
The Domestic Sales professional will be responsible for driving B2B and B2C sales within India, expanding dealer/distributor networks, and managing key accounts across retail, interior designers, architects, and institutional buyers.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Business Development
- Develop and execute domestic sales strategy for rugs, carpets, and home décor products
- Identify and onboard dealers, distributors, retailers, and channel partners
- Generate leads from:
- Interior designers & architects
- Hospitality (hotels, resorts)
- Real estate & builders
- Modern retail / e-commerce platforms
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
2. Channel Management (Textile Focus)
- Build strong relationships with:
- Multi-brand furniture stores
- Home décor showrooms
- Carpet/rug wholesalers
- Manage secondary sales, inventory movement, and display visibility
- Support partners with catalogues, samples, and merchandising
3. Key Account Management
- Handle large domestic clients (retail chains, institutional buyers)
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and bulk orders
- Coordinate with production/logistics for timely delivery
4. Product & Market Knowledge
- Understand product categories:
- Hand-knotted, hand-tufted, flat weave rugs
- Materials like wool, cotton, viscose, jute
- Track market trends in:
- Home décor
- Interior styling
- Pricing benchmarks in Indian rug market
5. Coordination & Operations
- Work closely with:
- Design team (custom orders)
- Production & QC teams
- Logistics & dispatch
- Ensure smooth order processing and customer satisfaction
6. Reporting & MIS
- Maintain sales pipeline and CRM
- Provide weekly/monthly sales reports
- Analyze territory performance and suggest improvements
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
