Prepare detailed shop drawings, including plans, elevations, and sections, based on architectural blueprints and RCPs.
Develop specialized mould and formwork drawings that account for the casting requirements of Glass Reinforced Concrete and Fiber Reinforced Plastic.
Design structural fixing details and support systems, such as MS/SS frameworks, brackets, and cleats, to ensure secure on-site installation.
Perform site surveys and take accurate physical measurements to integrate "as-built" conditions into final production drawings.
Generate a precise Bill of Materials (BOM) and weight calculations for each panel to assist in logistics and material procurement.
Create 3D models for complex architectural geometries like domes, cornices, and decorative pillars to verify fitment and aesthetics.
Coordinate technical requirements with structural engineers to ensure panel thickness and reinforcement meet wind load and safety standards.
Maintain a rigorous drawing register to manage version control and ensure the factory uses only the latest approved revisions.
Collaborate with the production team to troubleshoot manufacturing issues and provide technical support during the installation phase.
Review architectural specifications to ensure all material finishes and joint details align with the client’s vision.
Prepare "As-Built" drawings after project completion to document any deviations made during the site installation.
Utilize AutoCAD 2D and 3D software as the primary drafting tool, often integrating with Rhino or Revit for advanced 3D surfacing and ensure all designs adhere to factory capabilities and transportation constraints, such as maximum panel size and weight limits.
