We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented QA Analyst to join our team on behalf of an enterprise client. This is a strictly on-site position focused on ensuring software reliability and maintaining high-quality product standards. There are no remote or hybrid work arrangements available.
As a Quality Assurance Analyst, you will be responsible for designing, executing, and managing comprehensive testing plans to identify software defects, validate functionality, and ensure seamless system performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Test Case Design & Execution: Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on functional specifications.
- Defect Lifecycle Management: Identify, document, log, and track software bugs and anomalies using tools like Jira. Work closely with development teams to isolate problems and verify fixes.
- Functional & Regression Testing: Perform rigorous manual testing, regression testing, and system integration testing across web and mobile applications to prevent deployment gaps.
- Test Automation: Execute and maintain basic automated test scripts using industry-standard frameworks (such as Selenium or similar tools) to streamline the testing pipeline.
- Backend Validation: Write foundational SQL queries to verify database data integrity, check backend logic, and ensure accurate data population.
- Agile Collaboration: Participate actively in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings to define quality metrics and align on release goals.
Candidate Requirements
- Core Testing Expertise: Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) concepts, specifically within Agile/Scrum environments.
- Technical Tooling: Experience with bug tracking systems (Jira) and exposure to automation tools or scripting languages (such as Python, Java, or SQL) is highly valued.
- Analytical Problem-Solving: Exceptional attention to detail with a proven ability to spot edge-case bugs, UI/UX inconsistencies, and performance bottlenecks.
- Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate face-to-face with developers, product managers, and business stakeholders.
- Academic Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.
Pay: ₹44,000.00 - ₹48,000.00 per month
