About the Role
We are looking for a caring, responsible, energetic, and child-friendly Daycare Teacher to provide quality care and engaging learning experiences for children. The candidate should be patient, attentive, and able to create a safe, nurturing, and positive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the safety, hygiene, and well-being of children throughout the day.
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, nap time, and activities.
- Plan and conduct age-appropriate indoor and outdoor activities.
- Engage children in storytelling, music, art & craft, games, and creative activities.
- Support children's emotional, social, and cognitive development.
- Maintain proper classroom discipline using positive and child-friendly methods.
- Assist children during meals and maintain proper hygiene.
- Help children with toileting and personal hygiene when required.
- Maintain daily attendance and basic classroom records.
- Observe children's behaviour and development and report concerns to the coordinator.
- Communicate professionally with parents whenever required.
- Keep the classroom clean, organized, and child-friendly.
- Follow all Little Incisors safety, hygiene, and daycare policies.
- Work closely with other teachers and caretakers as a team.
Requirements
- Graduate or equivalent qualification preferred.
- Diploma/Certificate in Early Childhood Education will be an advantage.
- Previous preschool/daycare experience preferred.
- Good communication skills in English, Hindi, and Marathi.
- Basic computer and documentation skills.
- Must be patient, caring, punctual, responsible, and energetic.
- Ability to handle children calmly and confidently.
- First-aid knowledge will be an advantage.
Working Hours
Monday to Saturday ( Alternate Saturdays working )
Full-Time Daycare Shift
Salary
₹10,000 – ₹14,000 per month, depending on experience and skills.
