Job Summary
The Academic Counsellor is responsible for guiding prospective students in selecting appropriate courses, supporting the admissions process, and ensuring a smooth transition from inquiry to enrollment. The role involves student engagement, career guidance, and achieving admission targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel prospective students about courses, career paths, and training programs offered by IPCS Global
- Handle inbound and outbound calls, walk-ins, and online inquiries
- Explain course details, fees, and career opportunities clearly
- Follow up with leads and convert inquiries into admissions
- Maintain student databases and update CRM systems regularly
- Coordinate with academic and operations teams for batch scheduling
- Support students throughout the admission process
- Achieve monthly and quarterly enrollment targets
- Organize and participate in promotional activities, seminars, and events
Required Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Sales and negotiation abilities
- Basic knowledge of education/career counselling
- Ability to handle targets and work under pressure
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools
- Fluency in English (knowledge of regional languages is a plus)
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (any discipline)
- Experience in academic counselling / sales / customer support preferred
- Freshers with strong communication skills may also apply

Pay: ₹103.31 - ₹20,334.00 per month
