We are looking for a skilled, responsible, and passionate Barista cum Manager to join our team at Morso. This role requires someone who can seamlessly balance beverage craftsmanship, team management, and daily operations while ensuring an excellent customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a wide range of hot and cold beverages, including:
- Coffee-based drinks (espresso, cappuccino, latte, cold coffee, etc.)
- Non-caffeinated beverages (hot chocolate, coolers, mocktails, specialty drinks, etc.)
- Maintain consistency in taste, presentation, and quality of all beverages.
- Oversee day-to-day café operations and ensure smooth workflow.
- Manage and supervise staff, including:
- Shift planning
- Task delegation
- Performance monitoring
- Maintaining discipline and team coordination
- Handle billing and order management using POS systems efficiently.
- Be comfortable using computer software for billing, inventory, and daily reporting.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate inventory replenishment.
- Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and proper maintenance of the beverage station and café.
- Deliver warm, attentive customer service and resolve customer concerns professionally.
Requirements:
- Prior experience as a barista and/or café manager preferred.
- Strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and beverage preparation.
- Proficiency in POS systems and basic computer software.
- Must be able to communicate fluently in English (spoken communication essential).
- Good leadership and staff management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
