Formula Interiors is a commercial builder specialising in fit-out and refurbishment, delivering projects across the corporate, healthcare, education, government, and retail sectors.
We are seeking a Senior Estimator to take ownership of tender outcomes and play a key role in driving commercial performance across the business.
Reporting to the Estimating Manager, you will be responsible for the preparation and delivery of accurate, competitive, and well-considered tenders, while contributing to strategy, risk identification, and overall bid quality.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the preparation of tenders from first principles through to submission

Ensure all pricing is robust, transparent, and commercially aligned

Identify risks, opportunities, and value engineering initiatives

Engage and negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key industry stakeholders

Ensure all submissions reflect best-practice construction methodology

Maintain compliance with all relevant legislation, codes, and client requirements

Contribute to post-tender reviews and continuous improvement of estimating processes
About You

Proven estimating experience within commercial construction (fit-out/refurbishment highly regarded)

Strong commercial acumen with the ability to interrogate scope and drive value

Confident communicator with the ability to influence both internally and externally

Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines
-
A proactive, solutions-focused approach with sound judgement under pressure
You are a self-starter who takes ownership, challenges assumptions, and is comfortable operating with a high degree of autonomy.
