ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES FOR ACCOUNTS HEAD:
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Management & Control
- Oversee complete accounting operations across all entities
- Ensure timely closure of books (monthly/quarterly /Half yearly and annually)
- Monitor cash flow, fund planning, and working capital
- Implement strong internal controls and SOPs
2. Multi-Company & Multi-Site Accounting
- Handle accounting for multiple companies/entities within the group
- Manage site-wise accounting for multiple solar projects
- Ensure proper inter-company accounting and reconciliations
- Track project-wise revenue, expenses, and profitability across sites
- Standardize accounting and reporting across all entities and locations
3. Accounting & Finalization
- Supervise journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations
- Finalize financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards
4. GST, Taxation & Statutory Compliance
- Ensure timely GST filings (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, Annual Returns)
- Handle TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory compliances
- Coordinate with auditors and consultants
- Oversee compliance related to EPF, ESI, PT, and LWF (with HR team)
5. Project & Cost Accounting (Solar Specific)
- Track EPC project costing and budgets
- Monitor cost vs actuals and variance analysis
- Ensure accurate cost allocation across multiple sites
- Evaluate project profitability
6. Revenue & Energy Accounting
- Account revenue from:
- Power Purchase Agreements (PPA)
- Net metering / captive consumption
- Reconcile:
- Energy generation (kWh)
- EB billing and collections
- Coordinate with operations for data validation
7. Banking & Fund Management
- Manage banking relationships and loan facilities
- Handle project financing and working capital
- Ensure compliance with loan terms and repayments
8. MIS & Management Reporting
- Prepare monthly MIS and financial dashboards
- Provide insights for management decision-making
- Present reports to MD / management
9. Audit & Compliance
- Lead internal and external audits
- Ensure all records are audit-ready
- Strengthening compliance systems and processes
10. Team Management
- Lead and manage accounts team
- Review team output and ensure accuracy
- Train team on accounting and compliance practices
Qualifications: CA/CMA/COST Management
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹75,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
