Role Overview
- Maintaining a high standard and quality of food preparation
- Help control food costs by preventing the wastage and spoilage of food items
- Maintaining the bakery kitchen area in a clean and orderly condition at all times
- Maintain discipline in the kitchen
- Execute piping techniques for various dessert elements, including creams, mousses, icings, and sauces, ensuring consistency and aesthetic standards.
- Prepare piping bags with the correct tips and fillings as instructed.
- Assist in preparing garnishes and decorations for desserts.
- Assist chefs with the preparation of ingredients, including washing, peeling, chopping, and measuring.
- Retrieve and organize ingredients from storage areas.
- Assist with basic cooking tasks as directed by the chefs.
- Properly store and label food items.
- Operate and maintain kitchen equipment safely.
- Assist with plating and presentation of dishes when required.
- Follow recipes and instructions accurately.
Requirements & Skills
- Experience: 0-2 years of experience in a bakery, cafe or as apprentice.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in chopping, garnishing, etc .
- Soft Skills: Ability to work morning or evening shifts, physical stamina for kitchen work, and a strong sense of discipline.
- Education: A certificate or diploma in Hotel management is preferred, though hands-on experience is most valued.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹21,000.00 per month
