protection. The institution supports their overall development through education,
healthcare, nutrition, counselling, life-skills training, and recreation. A dedicated team
works to ensure the physical, emotional, educational, and social well-being of every
child.
Who are we looking for:
We are seeking a compassionate, responsible, and dedicated Staff Nurse (ANM/GNM)
to provide healthcare support and ensure the physical well-being of residential girl
children in a Child Care Institution (CCI). The ideal candidate should have a strong
commitment to child welfare, be capable of handling routine healthcare needs and
emergencies, and actively promote healthy living practices among children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor the health and well-being of residential girl children.
- Conduct night rounds to check on children, especially those who are unwell.
- Administer prescribed medications and provide basic nursing care.
- Accompany children to hospitals for consultations, emergencies, admissions, and
- follow-up treatments.
- Provide attender support for hospitalized children, including night shifts when
- required.
- Maintain medical records and health-related documentation.
- Promote hygiene, health awareness, and healthy habits among children.
Skills and Qualifications:
- ANM, GNM qualification.
- Minimum 2 years of nursing/clinical experience.
- Fluency in spoken and written Tamil.
- Age: 25–35 years preferred.
