Educational Qualification
- B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Chemistry or M.Sc. in Environmental Science.
- Relevant experience in environmental and laboratory testing is required.
Job Summary
The Analyst will be responsible for carrying out chemical and environmental analysis of various samples and ensuring accurate, reliable, and timely test results as per prescribed laboratory procedures and standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct analysis of water, wastewater, food, soil, sludge, and other environmental samples.
- Perform chemical and environmental testing using appropriate laboratory methods and procedures.
- Ensure accurate recording, calculation, and reporting of test results.
- Follow applicable testing standards such as IS, APHA, ASTM, and USEPA, as applicable.
- Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment as per SOPs.
- Maintain proper laboratory records, worksheets, and test documentation.
- Follow laboratory quality, safety, and ISO/IEC 17025 requirements.
- Support calibration, quality control, and proficiency testing activities.
- Identify and report any abnormal results, deviations, or testing issues to the Technical Manager.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and discipline within the laboratory.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of chemical and environmental analysis.
- Practical experience in testing water, wastewater, food, soil, and sludge samples.
- Knowledge of laboratory instruments and analytical techniques.
- Understanding of quality control and laboratory safety procedures.
- Good analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under high sample loads and time-bound testing requirements.
Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹550,000.00 per year
