Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced VMC (Vertical Machining Center) Operator to set up, operate, and maintain CNC vertical machining centers to produce precision parts according to engineering drawings and specifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of CNC programming, tooling, and quality control.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate VMC machines to perform various machining operations, including milling, drilling, and tapping.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Load and unload workpieces, and ensure proper clamping and alignment.
- Select, install, and adjust cutting tools as needed.
- Perform tool offsets and program adjustments.
- Monitor machine operation and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Use precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc.) to verify part dimensions and tolerances.
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Perform first article inspections and in-process inspections.
- Work with CAD/CAM generated programs.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a VMC Operator.
- Strong understanding of CNC programming (G-code and M-code).
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
- Experience with tool selection, setup, and adjustment.
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments.
- Knowledge of machining processes and materials.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to work independently 1 and as part of a team.

- गुणवत्ता और दक्षता सुनिश्चित करने के लिए मशीन संचालन की निगरानी करना और आवश्यक समायोजन करना।
- नियमित मशीन रखरखाव और समस्या निवारण करना।
- भाग आयामों और सहनशीलता को सत्यापित करने के लिए सटीक मापने वाले उपकरणों (कैलीपर्स, माइक्रोमीटर आदि) का उपयोग करना।
- सटीक उत्पादन रिकॉर्ड और दस्तावेज़ीकरण बनाए रखना।
- सभी सुरक्षा प्रक्रियाओं का पालन करना और एक स्वच्छ और व्यवस्थित कार्य क्षेत्र बनाए रखना।
- प्रथम लेख निरीक्षण और इन-प्रोसेस निरीक्षण करना।
- CAD/CAM द्वारा उत्पन्न कार्यक्रमों के साथ काम करना।
योग्यताएं:
- VMC ऑपरेटर के रूप में न्यूनतम 2 वर्षों का अनुभव।
- CNC प्रोग्रामिंग (G-कोड और M-कोड) की गहरी समझ।
- इंजीनियरिंग ड्रॉइंग और विशिष्टताओं को पढ़ने और समझने में दक्षता।
- टूल चयन, सेटअप और समायोजन का अनुभव।
