Job Title: Detailer (Structural / PEB / Steel)
Experience: 3–5 Years
Qualification: B.E / B.Tech or Diploma in Civil / Mechanical Engineering
Job Role & Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed fabrication drawings, GA drawings, and shop drawings for structural steel / PEB projects.
- Interpret design drawings and convert them into accurate detailing drawings.
- Use detailing software such as AutoCAD, Tekla Structures, or similar tools.
- Generate Bill of Materials (BOM) and material take-offs.
- Coordinate with design engineers, project team, and fabrication team for drawing approvals and revisions.
- Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, standards, and client requirements.
- Check and review drawings for accuracy before submission.
- Incorporate comments and revisions from clients or consultants.
- Maintain proper documentation and version control of drawings.
- Support site team with clarification of drawings when required.
Key Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of steel structures / PEB detailing.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD / Tekla (mandatory).
- Understanding of fabrication and erection processes.
- Knowledge of international codes/standards (IS, AISC, etc.).
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple projects.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB) or structural steel projects.
- Exposure to connection detailing, anchor bolt layouts, and assembly drawings.
- Familiarity with CNC data generation (DSTV files) is an advantage.
