A Civil Site Engineer is responsible for planning, supervising, and executing construction activities at project sites while ensuring quality, safety, and timely completion of work.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day construction activities at the site.
- Interpret and execute construction drawings, specifications, and project plans.
- Ensure work is carried out according to approved designs, quality standards, and project schedules.
- Monitor labor, subcontractors, and equipment to ensure efficient productivity.
- Conduct site inspections and coordinate with architects, consultants, and project managers.
- Verify materials received at the site and ensure they meet project specifications.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Perform quantity estimation, measurements, and billing verification.
- Resolve technical issues encountered during construction.
- Coordinate site surveys, layout work, and setting out using surveying equipment.
- Maintain site documentation, including inspection reports, work permits, and material records.
- Ensure proper implementation of quality control procedures and testing of construction materials.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- 2–5 years of experience in construction or infrastructure projects (experience requirements may vary by employer).
- Knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and engineering standards.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management software (e.g., Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project is an advantage).
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Typical Duties
- Inspect construction work for quality and compliance.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
